1. Definitions

In these Terms & Conditions:

• "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions together with any rental confirmation and associated documentation.
• "Renter" or "You" refers to the individual entering into a rental agreement with Crestborne.
• "Vehicle" means the automobile rented from Crestborne, including all provided documentation and accessories.
• "Rental Period" means the duration specified in your rental confirmation, from collection to scheduled return time.
• "Services" refers to our heritage luxury car rental services, including associated consultations and documentation.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By making a rental reservation, collecting a vehicle, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

You must be at least 25 years of age to rent a vehicle from Crestborne. By proceeding with a rental, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Service Description

Crestborne provides heritage luxury vehicle rental services in Singapore, offering three distinct rental experiences: Heritage Sedan Experience, Artisan Tourer Weekend, and Bespoke Occasion Collection. Each service includes heritage documentation, marque historian consultations, and meticulous vehicle preparation following traditional coachwork standards.

Service availability is subject to vehicle inventory and scheduling constraints. We reserve the right to substitute vehicles of comparable or superior quality if the specifically reserved vehicle becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances.

4. Rental Requirements

4.1 Driver Qualifications

To rent a vehicle, you must:

• Be at least 25 years of age
• Hold a valid driving licence issued in Singapore or an International Driving Permit
• Have held your licence for a minimum of two consecutive years
• Provide valid identification (passport or Singapore IC)
• Present a major credit card in your name for security deposit

4.2 Additional Drivers

Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement provided they meet the same qualification requirements. All additional drivers must be present during vehicle collection to complete necessary documentation and verification.

5. Reservations and Confirmation

5.1 Booking Process

Reservations can be made through our website contact form, email ([email protected]), or telephone (+65 6482 5913). For Bespoke Occasion Collection services, we recommend contacting us at least two weeks before your event date.

A rental reservation becomes binding upon your receipt of written confirmation from Crestborne. This confirmation will specify the vehicle details, rental period, pricing, and any additional services included.

5.2 Modifications and Cancellations

Changes to confirmed reservations are subject to vehicle availability and may incur modification fees. Cancellations made:

• More than 7 days before rental: Full refund less 10% administrative fee
• 3-7 days before rental: 50% refund of rental fee
• Less than 3 days before rental: No refund

Bespoke Occasion Collection services require 14 days' notice for cancellation to receive any refund.

6. Payment Terms

6.1 Pricing and Fees

Rental rates are quoted in Singapore Dollars (SGD) and include:

• Vehicle rental for the specified period
• Heritage documentation and marque historian consultation
• Comprehensive insurance coverage with standard deductible
• Service-specific inclusions as detailed in rental confirmation

Additional charges may apply for:

• Fuel (vehicles are provided with full tanks and must be returned with full tanks)
• Late returns (SGD 100 per hour or part thereof)
• Cleaning fees for excessive interior soiling
• Toll charges and parking fines incurred during rental period

6.2 Payment Schedule

A deposit of 30% of the total rental fee is required upon reservation confirmation. The remaining balance is due 72 hours before vehicle collection. We accept payment via major credit cards or bank transfer.

6.3 Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit (amount specified in rental confirmation) will be authorized on your credit card at collection. This deposit is released within 7 business days of vehicle return, pending inspection and resolution of any charges.

7. Vehicle Collection and Return

7.1 Collection Procedure

Vehicle collection includes a marque historian consultation (typically 20 minutes) covering design lineage, notable features, and vehicle-specific guidelines. You will receive heritage documentation, trip journal, and service-specific materials as applicable.

Before departing, you will conduct a thorough inspection of the vehicle with our staff, documenting any existing marks or damage. This inspection report forms the basis for condition assessment upon return.

7.2 Return Requirements

Vehicles must be returned:

• At the scheduled return time specified in your rental confirmation
• To the designated return location
• With a full fuel tank (or fuel charges will apply)
• In the same condition as collected, allowing for normal wear
• With all provided documentation and accessories

7.3 Late Returns

Late returns without prior authorization will incur additional charges of SGD 100 per hour or part thereof. If a late return affects subsequent bookings, you may be liable for additional costs incurred by Crestborne.

8. Renter Responsibilities

8.1 Permitted Use

You agree to:

• Operate the vehicle in accordance with Singapore traffic laws and regulations
• Drive only on properly maintained roads suitable for the vehicle type
• Keep the vehicle locked and secured when unattended
• Report any mechanical issues or damage immediately
• Maintain the vehicle in reasonable condition throughout the rental period

8.2 Prohibited Activities

You must not:

• Allow anyone other than authorized drivers to operate the vehicle
• Use the vehicle for racing, competitions, or driving instruction
• Transport hazardous materials or illegal substances
• Exceed Singapore's legal speed limits
• Drive while under the influence of alcohol or controlled substances
• Modify the vehicle or its systems in any way
• Use the vehicle outside Singapore without written authorization
• Allow smoking inside the vehicle

8.3 Liability for Violations

You are responsible for all traffic violations, parking fines, tolls, and other charges incurred during the rental period. We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any such costs, plus an administrative fee.

9. Insurance and Liability

9.1 Insurance Coverage

All rentals include comprehensive insurance coverage with a standard deductible as specified in your rental confirmation. This coverage includes third-party liability, collision damage, and theft protection, subject to the terms of the insurance policy.

9.2 Renter Liability

You are liable for:

• The insurance deductible amount for any damage or loss during the rental period
• Full cost of damage or loss if vehicle was used in violation of this Agreement
• Loss of rental income if vehicle requires repairs beyond routine maintenance
• Interior cleaning costs if vehicle is returned in excessively soiled condition

9.3 Accident Procedures

In the event of an accident or damage:

• Contact Crestborne immediately at +65 6482 5913
• File a police report if required by Singapore law
• Obtain contact information from all parties involved
• Document the scene with photographs if safe to do so
• Do not admit fault or liability at the scene

10. Disclaimers

While we maintain our vehicles to the highest standards, services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that vehicles will be free from mechanical issues, though we commit to addressing any problems promptly.

Heritage documentation and marque historian consultations are provided for educational and informational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but do not warrant the completeness or accuracy of all historical information provided.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crestborne's liability for any claims arising from your rental is limited to the total amount paid for the rental. We are not liable for:

• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• Loss of business, revenue, or profits
• Delays, inconvenience, or loss of use
• Personal property left in the vehicle

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under Singapore law.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate a rental agreement and reclaim the vehicle immediately if:

• You breach any term of this Agreement
• The vehicle is used for prohibited purposes
• We have reasonable grounds to believe the vehicle is at risk
• Payment obligations are not met

In such cases, you remain liable for all rental charges up to the point of termination and any additional costs incurred.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties.

If negotiation does not resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may refer the matter to the Singapore Mediation Centre for mediation. If mediation is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through the courts of Singapore, and you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts.

14. General Provisions

14.1 Entire Agreement

These Terms & Conditions, together with your rental confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Crestborne regarding your rental and supersede all prior discussions or agreements.

14.2 Severability

If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

14.3 Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of this Agreement does not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

14.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our written consent. We may assign this Agreement to any entity that acquires our business.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Existing rental agreements will be governed by the terms in effect at the time of reservation confirmation.
